Hamilton City Council held their Council ratification meeting on September 13, 2017. Among the decisions, Council voted to not proceed with studying a 2030 Commonwealth Games bid.

City Council meets in Committee of the Whole today to discuss a motion to fund poverty initiatives by an extra $5-million per year, the 2015 City Manager’s Performance Review, splitting the fiasco factory known as the Public Works Department, a motion to renegotiate the lease of the airport, governance of DARTS, six closed session items, and more.

Hamilton City Council voted down the downtown bus lane on a 9-7 vote. The seven pro-bus lane votes were Mayor Eisenberger, Aidan Johnson, Farr, Green, Merulla, Pearson, and Brenda Johnson. Full Replay Video
