I need to blog more, tweet [or I guess X now] less…

This week’s Waste Management Sub-Committee meeting focused on the provincially mandated asset management plan for the City’s waste operations.

Naturally, with the City’s waste dump in Glanbrook, Ward 11 Councillor Mark Tadeson directed many of his questions to how the City is planning for the eventual closure of the dump in the coming decades.

I took note that Tadeson began his questions on Thursday with, “This might be a very simple question from a former garbage collector guy.”

I will try having sit-down interviews with members of Council this fall to mark the half-way point of this council term, I’ll likely ask Tadeson about this past job of his, before he became a teacher and eventually a school principal.
