Hamilton City Council’s Licensing Committee is down two of its five members with Ward 5 councillor Chad Collins absent campaigning to be the next Member of Parliament for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek and Ward 14 councillor Terry Whitehead on medical leave.
The Committee, which hears appeals of staff decisions to revoke municipal licenses, is scheduled to meet on September 17 at Stoney Creek Municipal Centre. It has not met yet during COVID.
To achieve quorum, all three of the remaining members must attend.
The remaining members are Ward 3 councillor Nrinder Nann, Ward 9 councillor Brad Clark, and Ward 11 councillor Brenda Johnson.
