City staff are working on their report to Council on the results of the City’s first year of On-Street Patios. As part of the review, staff are consulting with Business Improvement Areas seeking their feedback on the program and how to improve it in coming years.
The feedback at previous meetings of the Business Improvement Area Advisory Committee was very positive; with many BIA leaders stating there is interest in having more than the current limit of two on-street patios for each commercial district.
Staff will speak with the BIA Advisory Committee Tuesday morning, the meeting is scheduled to begin at 8am in Room 264 at City Hall.
Public feedback on the on-street patio project can be sent to Amanda McIlveen, Parking Manager, Hamilton Municipal Parking System.
