Ward 3 City Councillor Nrinder Nann planned to move a motion to install a prefabricated washroom at Woodlands Park this summer.

This follows an encampment-caused fire in January that destroyed the washrooms at the Barton Street East park, which is located on the north side between Wentworth Street and Sanford Avenue.

The motion was withdrawn on Tuesday and removed from the City website.

TPR is republishing the public motion document because it contains information regarding the estimated three to four years it will take to build a new permanent replacement washroom.
