The City of Hamilton will permit Losani Homes to build two six-storey buildings, with stepbacks for angular plane above the third storey, at 3064-3084 Regional Road 56 and 3160-3190 Regional Road 56.
The City and Losani Homes reached a settlement agreement at the Ontario Land Tribunal. The OLT approved the deal on March 7.
The properties are located on the west side of Regional Road 56 between Binbrook Road and Windwood Drive.
The original proposals for the sites sought a total of 237 housing units.
The settlement changes the proposal to include more commercial space on the ground levels of the buildings.
Details including design and number of units are not included in the OLT ruling.
