The Hamilton Public Library Board approved $700,000 to renovate the Sherwood library branch and $200,000 for the Concession branch at its December meeting.

The Sherwood renovation will enhance program rooms, improve sound buffering on the main floor, and add five dedicated study rooms on the second floor.

The renovations are expected to take 14 weeks to complete and will commence after March Break.

Following the Sherwood renovations, the expected eight-week renovation of the Concession branch will begin to add a Markerspace and “changes to layout to allow for a more suitable teen area.”
