BRIEF: B.C. Human Rights Tribunal Rules Standard ‘Floating’ Bus Design Discriminatory

Hamilton’s Chief Planner Steve Robichaud noted a BC Human Rights case on his Twitter account this weekend,

It is a significant decision with potential impact across Canada.

Floating bus stop designs, those with raised bike lanes flowing behind or in front of them, are dangerous for people who are blind or have visual impairments.
