The City of Hamilton’s planning staff say they’ve completed a draft discussion paper discussing options for the City to change its zoning and official plan policies regarding migrant farmer residences.
Heather Travis, senior project manager for policy planning, told the Rural and Agricultural Affairs Committee on Monday, “we’re targeting either January or February Planning Committee to get that draft discussion paper before Council.”
The paper will discuss servicing, location, and size requirements for this form of housing.
