The Weekly Incidence Rate of COVID-19 per 100,000 residents of Hamilton remains above 150 as the Public Health Ontario reports 151 new confirmed cases in the past day, and 6 new deaths.

Province-wide, the number of tests complete is lower than average with a near record high positivity rate of 8.9%

The total number of Hamiltonians who have been admitted to hospital with COVID increased by 8 since yesterday.

Hamilton Health Sciences is reporting an increase of 2 in COVID in-patients, bringing the total COVID inpatients to 53, of whom 9 are in ICU, an increase of 1.

St. Joseph’s is reporting 22 in-patients, an increase of one since yesterday.

Hamilton Public Health reports 1714 active cases of COVID in Hamilton, a new peak.
