The Weekly Incidence Rate of COVID-19 per 100,000 residents of Hamilton remains above 150 as the Public Health Ontario reports 94 new confirmed cases in the past day, and three new deaths.

Province-wide, the number of tests complete is significantly lower than average with a near record high positivity rate of 8.36%

The total number of Hamiltonians who have been admitted to hospital with COVID increased by 3 on Sunday.

Hamilton Health Sciences is reporting an increase of 6 COVID patients since December 31st, bringing the total COVID inpatients to 53, of whom 8 are in ICU.

St. Joseph’s is reporting 21 patients, the same as December 31st..

Hamilton Public Health reports 1603 active cases of COVID in Hamilton, a new peak.
