The Institute for Municipal Finance and Governance in the Munk School at the University of Toronto is offering two online talks regarding COVID’s impacts upon municipal finances.
This Wednesday, October 14, IMFG will discuss financial impacts in Canada, with speakers from both Toronto and British Columbia. The Executive Directors of both the Municipal Finance Officers’ Association of Ontario (MFOA) and Government Finance Officers Association of British Columbia (GFOABC) are on the panel. The event runs from 4:30 to 5:30pm Eastern Time. Register online to watch via Zoom webinar.
In two weeks, on Monday, October 26, IMFG will discuss the financial impact of COVID on municipalities around the world with a panel of experts a range of global agencies and think tanks. This talk runs from 11am to 12noon Eastern Time. Register online to watch via Zoom webinar.
