Office of the Fire Marshal Proposing Public Reporting of Fire Response Times Province-Wide

Fire departments across Ontario will be required to release their response times starting in 2020.
The Office of the Fire Marshal of Ontario and Emergency Management (OFMEM) posted a regulatory notice in February.
Under the new regulation, municipal fire services will be require to complete a yearly report on response times to be presented to the local council. The OFMEM will post the reports for the public on its website.
