Hamilton’s Design Review Panel will discuss three tall building proposals during their July 13, 2017 meeting at City Hall. (full agenda)
Two of the buildings will be part of the Kresge site development by LiUNA and Hi-Rise Development Advisors Inc. at 43 – 51 King Street East in the Central Business District (Downtown).
The other tall building is a proposal from Sonoma Development Group for 71 Rebecca Street, the site of the former bus terminal and presently the site of the Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre.
The meeting begins at 2pm in Room 264, and is open to the public.
Note: The Public Record does not record or broadcast DRP meetings. At present, the process is still fairly new and it is not clear if a camera would diminish the goals of these meetings which is a frank and lively discussion of early renderings and proposals

DISCLOSURE STATEMENT: The architects for the 71 Rebecca Street development are DPAI. DPAI is part of Seedworks where I have my office.
