Hamilton City Council meets to ratify their work of the past two weeks.
Among the highlights: hiring an HSR social media coordinator, escarpment road access rock slope maintenance, denying a development at 271 Beach Boulevard, the City’s vision statement and 10-year strategic plan, lifting heritage designations on the Gore Buildings to allow for a new development, St. Mark’s capital funding, ward boundary review, police officer matching funds from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Service, and a call on the provincial government to restore funding for Intensive Behaviour Intervention for children with autism over the age of five.
