Council’s micromanagement of the Hamilton Cycling Master Plan will expand later this spring as the Public Works Committee will renew how staff implement and prioritize implementation of the plan.
The Public Works Committee passed a motion at their May 2nd meeting calling on staff to report on their processes before the summer recess.
Councillors are upset about staff applying for, and receiving, a provincial cycling funding grant to implement the Bay Street cycling lane which is part of the 2009 Plan.
The report is expected for the June 6, 2016 Public Works Committee meeting.
