Hamilton Police are asking the public’s assistance in determining the identity of a suspect in a sexual assault which occurred Friday afternoon in the area of San Pedro Drive and Scenic Drive on the West Mountain.

The Hamilton Police Service is investigating a sexual assault occurrence which occurred on June 5th, 2015 at 5:30pm in the area of San Pedro Drive and Scenic Drive, City of Hamilton. A female was walking in this area when an unknown male suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect then fled on foot eastbound on San Pedro Drive, and turned southbound on Scenic Drive into a wooded area.
The suspect is described as:
Male, white, approximately 6 feet tall, lanky build, 25 to 30 years of age, dark short hair with a lower lip patch of facial hair. The suspect was wearing a white baseball cap, dark sunglasses, a plain white t-shirt, green or grey cargo shorts and running shoes.
The Hamilton Police Service continues to investigate and is looking for any information regarding the incident or suspect.
