The Hamilton Fire Department says a late Saturday evening fire at 1 Boyne Court in Stoney Creek caused $300,000 and the Office of the Fire Marshal is assisting to investigate the cause of the fire.
There were no injuries.

Fire Damages Stoney Creek Home
HAMILTON, ON – April 26, 2015 – Hamilton Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire at 1 Boyne CT, Stoney Creek at approximately 10:24 p.m. last night. Upon arrival firefighters found the occupants outside of the house and confirmed a well involved fire with flames showing from the garage of this two storey detached house and the fire was extending into the 2nd floor. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire after an aggressive interior and exterior attack limiting the spread of fire into the home.
Damage to the home is extensive and has been estimated at approximately $300,000. There were no injuries reported and the Office of the Fire Marshal will be attending to assist in determining the cause of the fire.
