Burlington Hires New Deputy Fire Chief from Hamilton Fire Department: Karen Roche

Burlington’s new Deputy Fire Chief will be Karen Roche, who is presently an Assistant Deputy Chief for the Hamilton Fire Department.
Roche is a familiar face to Hamilton media. In her role as Asst. Deputy Chief, she is often at large multiple alarm fires as part of the on-scene commander.
Having observed her command of major fire scenes, including large industrial fires, Burlington has hire a very competent commander to lead their service both from the back office and from the front lines of fire scenes.
