The first residents of the new building CityHousing apartments at 106 Bay Street North near Cannon Street moved into the building on December 15.
The 55 units are not new affordable housing. They were constructed to replace the larger family townhouses at the Jamesville complex at 425 James Street North.
Update: CityHousing Hamilton states, ““Through the feasibility study completed, it was determined that 10 net new units would be created through the 55-unit building, with 45 units being replaced from Jamesville.”
