The City of Hamilton and Vrancor developments have reached a settlement which will end the ongoing Ontario Land Tribunal appeal regarding Vrancor’s plan to build a 25-storey building at 354 King Street West on the northwest corner of the intersection of King Street West and Queen Street North.

Council approved the settlement during their May 31 Planning Committee meeting. It was ratified by Council on June 8.

The Planning Committee vote to approve the settlement was 5-1. Ward 1 Councillor Maureen Wilson voted against it.

The settlement details are not yet public. They will be presented to the Ontario Land Tribunal on June 20th. The appeal was scheduled to be heard starting on June 20th.
