  1. Rental housing on this area of the downtown is FABULOUS news. It is development such as this that will bring more life and vitality to the downtown, support the local businesses and help resist the need to expand urban boundaries. Kudos to the developer for keeping the project in a rental tenure. Just think of who would be housed, young people working in the downtown businesses, young professionals such as teachers and accountants needing convenient housing or the seniors who spent their adult years in the downtown and want to sell their ground based housing for a less maintenance intensive housing accommodation. The only way for downtown to continue moving forward is more people calling downtown home.
