A concept rendering from architects KNYMH looking from the northwest corner of King William and Ferguson

A couple of interesting development applications will be reviewed by the staff Development Review Team in the coming weeks. Among them, an application for 212 King William Street. I took a look at the planning file today and here’s a brief summary of the early application.
The developer, Melrose Investments, is proposing a six-storey 108 residential unit building with six ground floor commercial units and 84 parking spots.
The building will front along the south side King William from Ferguson Avenue to Jarvis Street. The commercial is proposed for the western portion of the ground floor, with residential lobby and amenities taking the eastern portion of the ground floor.
Parking will be at the back and below grade, with the entrance off of Jarvis.
The development will be subject to Design Review. At this time, I do not have a high-resolution rendering. There are renderings in the file. I’ve reached out to KNYMH, the architects for the project, requesting a high-resolution rendering.
Architects KNYMH provided the following high resolution renderings of the proposal. A reminder that following design review, the proposal will likely change.
